Hit the Billionaire Jackpot

A Hit Wedding Series Book.

 Authors: Nana Malone

Misty Evans

Book Summary:

As the new president of the 3 Wishes Foundation, Jenna McIntyre gets to make dreams come true for kids with disabilities. Once in awhile, she gets to make her own dreams come true as well. Like meeting her teenage crush, pop star Hawke Thorn, whose angsty songs helped her recover from a hit-and-run accident ten years ago and who is now one of the nominees for the 3 Wishes Donor of the Year event in Las Vegas. Jenna’s based her “ideal man” checklist on Hawke and now has the chance of a lifetime to actually land Hawke himself. But catching Hawke’s eye requires the romantically-challenged Jenna to seek love lessons from the other nominee—sexy, opinionated, billionaire playboy Jacob Swinton.

Jacob Swinton may have a secret soft spot for kids and family, but there’s no way he’s making that public knowledge. His continuing success depends on the world seeing him as a self-possessed, calculating businessman. He’s never had to compete for anything, so when he finds out he’s not a shoe-in for the 3 Wishes foundation Donor of the Year Award, and his competition is drunken, slovenly, pop star Hawke Thorne, Jacob says game on. What's there to worry about? But when Jenna asks him for love lessons, he has no idea the real competition is for her heart.

My review:
This is a really well written story, the characters are well developed and the descriptions are so well done you can picture the characters and scenes in your head.
Jenna McIntyre has not had the easiest life after an accident left her severally injured when she was a young teen, she still suffers from the lasting physical effects from that accident, but she doesn't let it slow her down.
Jenna is now in charge of her families charity business that was started because of her accident. Jenna has the brains to run the business after all she has a college degree in business management, but she lacks the experience, focus and image that she needs to be taken seriously by the board and businesses and people that she must contact in order to obtain donations.
Enter Jake Swinton, Jenna can not stand him because he is always looking at her like she just is not good enough and he is always critical of her.   Too bad he is on the board and he is one of their largest financial contributors.
When Jenna runs into some trouble with the media she must turn to Jake to help her change her image to be taken seriously.  Jake agrees to help her as long as she agrees to buckly down and help him finalize the plans for the annual dinner for families and donors.
Jake takes Jenna to an exclusive salon to have her totally made over. Not that her beautiful red hair needs much help, just a bit of shaping and  a little help to tame it a bit.  But she does need help with her wardrobe, the over sized sweatshirts, jeans and high-tops have no place in the boardroom or meeting with clients and the press.
Jake succeeds in transforming Jenna into the perfect business woman, but he finds himself missing the innocent young college girl look.  He especially misses that young girl  look when he notices the way other men are looking at Jenna.
Jake now has a problem, it seems he is very attracted to Jenna, but she is hung up on her school girl crush, and she doesn't seem to like him very much.
The chemistry between Jenna and Jake is hot and the fact that she makes him laugh and he makes her more secure is just icing on the cake.
This book is a must read for any romance lover.

                                              About the Authors

Nana Malone:

USA Today Bestselling Author Nana Malone’s love of all things romance and adventure started with a tattered romantic suspense she borrowed from her cousin on a sultry summer afternoon in Ghana at a precocious thirteen. She’s been in love with kick butt heroines ever since.

With her overactive imagination, and channeling her inner Buffy, it was only a matter a time before she started creating her own characters. Waiting for her chance at a job as a ninja assassin, Nana meantime works out her drama, passion, and sass with fictional characters every bit as sassy and kick butt as she thinks she is.

Nana is the author of twenty novels. And the books in her series have been on multiple Amazon Kindle and Barnes & Noble bestseller lists as well as the iTunes Breakout Books list and most notably the USA Today
                                                                       Bestseller list.

  1. Very interesting and engaging as well as, in certain respect, motivating story! We all have to win our jackpot be it, let's say, French Lotto jackpot or be it the allegoric one! Wish you all luck!
